The best way to prevent illness is to take care of the terrain.  That means that what you eat, drink and do has an impact on the body’s ability to support the growth of micro-organisms that can cause disease.  If  you make choices to change the body’s terrain into an environment that DOES NOT support the growth of these microbes, you  will not suffer the illness they are capable of creating.  (This is the old argument between Louis Pasteur and Antoin Beauchamp)   Here is a good article explaining the progression of germs.

If your body cannot support the disease organisms, then you have no need of these potentially lethal injections.

Learn all you can so that you can make good choices.

Once you understand how the body REALLY functions- you can take steps to assure that YOUR health stays intact.  

AND that goes the same for pathogenic disease as well as degenerative ones!

The concept is this: What we call “dis-ease” is simply the body’s attempt to get us to pay attention that there is something that it needs in order to be as healthy as the Creator intended.  Swelling, vomiting, pain, all are showing us that something is wrong and we need to provide assistance in some way.  When we cover up those signals to be comfortable, we may forget that there is still a problem underlying that symptom.

What sort of assistance might we need?

Well- there is really only one real disease- and that is Cellular Malfunction!

And there are basically 3 things that allow “diseases” to begin-

• Toxicities are at the top of the list. These are both envoironmental and metabolic… they are even produced when we are upset or frightened. Our filtering systems can get clogged up causing all sorts of problems. We need to be mindful and do some spring cleaning once in awhile… after all we change our car oil filters every 3,000 miles- why not clear our colon, liver, and kidneys?
• Insufficiencies-vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, water-  ALL are needed to suport the functioning of our cells.  All these need to be bio-available-  if you cannot digest them, your cells cannot get them.  Water comprises over 70% of our bodies- it is truly the substance of life!  Think of space exploration- what do they look for first? Water!
• Blockages- our bodies communicate via neurotransmitters and electricity- any blockage in that communication will keep us from functioning properly.  Also- the eleimination system needs to be clear in order to process and expel waste products. The electrical signals can be blocked due to spinal mis-alignments OR toxins in the system.  This is why chiropractic, accupuncture and other body balancing and strengthening techniques are important.    The sewage system relies on water AND the nutrients mentioned above in order to function properly AND the cells of these systems must remain clear to handle the many chemical transactions that are needed every second of our lives. 

When the system is not working properly in any of these arenas- disease can begin.
